About us:
Julia & Edward would like to welcome you to our home from home guinea pig/rabbit boarding service. Your pets can relax in comfortable surroundings so you can relax safe in the knowledge that your beloved pets are being loved and cared for. Our accommodation are the Ferplast cages 120 (For guinea pigs only), 5ft x 3ft rabbit pens, outdoor Garden Hotel. We do have indoor and outdoor runs for daily exercise with lots of toys and grass.
We board guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters. Sorry but we do not board rats, chickens, ferrets or dogs. We do not undertake dog walking. We have over 30 years experience of caring for small animals. We are first aid trained and can administer any medications and injections. You can also choose to have your guinea pig pampered with a bath, ( £7 extra on top of board fee). Piggy nail clipping can be done for £3 per piggy.
All our food and bedding is top quality, we offer Select, Burgess Excel nuggets for all pets; we also now have Select Grain Free nuggets. All guests are fed quality vegetables plus lush orchard hay/Timothy hay sourced from Happy Hay Co.
All rabbits who come for boarding must be fully vaccinated against Myxomatosis, RVHD1 and RVHD2.
ALL male rabbits must be neutered, ideally we encourage female rabbits to be neutered too.
• Please ensure that your pet is in a proper pet carrier or plastic box. Try not to use cardboard boxes as small furries love to chew through these.
. We are for the foreseeable future still doing doorstep drop off & pick ups.
• Our bank transfer details are on the invoice you will be sent.
Please agree a drop off & pick up time before boarding from our listed times. Please note we are Closed on a Wednesday and Bank Holidays. When booking please allow for this so you can bring your companion the day before or collect the day after. We also appreciated that if you are held up please let us know.

You may park on the road and walk down or you can park horizontal to our garage which is just past our house on the left. Please as courtesy to our neighbours do not park in front of the double garage opposite our home.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday : 08.00 - 11:00 then 16:30 - 18:00
Wednesday: Closed to drop off/pick up
Saturday - Sunday : 10.00 -Midday
Skittering Pig is also fully insured through Pet Business Insurance, Admiral Insurance, DBS checked.
Registered with the Information Commissioners Office for data protection
